It might not get as much attention before winter due to an upcoming garage mate so I took it out yesterday for a good drive then washed it and put the cover on. I think the video was pretty good, especially with how little light was out, and the hardware image stabilization works well.

Verizon. I'm still clutching to my unlimited data plan for dear life (I use between 10-30GB/month since it's faster than almost any wifi I connect to). I got the plus which is a little big but the battery is much bigger (I get about twice as much use between charges as my old 5) and the hardware image stabilization is night and day. Loving it.

I'll drag the file straight off the USB and see what it's saved as raw. The phone appears to process a video when you export it, so it may just be a raw 240fps mp4.

Yeah. With the amount of data I use, even paying the unsubsidized price, I save money over upgrading and losing the unlimited data. A friend just got a new Moto X and loves it except for the battery life.

Out of curiosity, have you been a victim of Verizon's new throttling policy yet? Personally I am right on the edge of what the consider the top data users (5.4gb I believe), but you are solidly in there, haha.

I think it's more of a threat at this point, I've never noticed slowdown. It's a life saver when we go on vacation and hotels throttle their wifi to 100K download speeds and my phone is pulling down 20-30MB/s, I've just got a hdmi output adapter for the phone and stream Netflix, iTunes, etc. My long term hope is that they eventually get so many people to switch to a limited share plan that the number of people with unlimited is so insignificant that they don't care anymore...but we'll see. Eventually the effort might not be worth the few stragglers left.

Yeah, I just hope that people like you and I are allowed to remain stragglers indefinitely.

I haven't noticed the slow down either, it's amazing, in a good coverage area, just how fast 4G is. For a while it was my only source of internet because where I was living my only option was DSL at $45 a month (at 3mbps, if you were lucky), which was preposterous.
